Workspace

A modern workplace is indispensable for any organization and is a contributor to employee satisfaction and productivity. The modern workplace is an entire ecosystem and, not just a desktop or laptop. Composing the workplace with the experts of PLTFRM creates a scalable, future-proof solution where the employee is central, and the solution is circular. This creates the best workplace because it is put together specifically for an organization. This way, you can realize a workplace that contributes to attracting and retaining the most talented employees.

Today, users have high expectations of a workplace. It is the daily way of interacting in the work environment and users expect the same ease of use and unlimited access to company applications, regardless of where or when they work. Another factor is that not every location has the same level of security. The importance of a flexible and secure workplace quickly became apparent during the pandemic.

A PLTFRM workplace is built based on the following components:

  • Workplace management: The foundation of a good workplace is good support for user questions, incidents, updates and logistics. There are several partners at PLTFRM who have specialized in sectors such as healthcare, public sector, for SMEs or for enterprise, or who focus on automation, adoption, self-service, or standardization.
  • Office automation: Micosoft365 management is a standard part of workplace management, but if you prefer to work with Google Workspace then you will find the partner for that on PLTFRM as well. The Microsoft365 self-service management portal, backup solutions and process automation with robots (RPA) can be found here.
  • Virtual workplace: In addition to solutions for the physical workplace, the virtual workplace is also available. This can, for example, offer a solution from a security perspective, where hired workers work on a virtual workstation or to offer more flexibility to employees (such as bring your own device) without compromising security. In both cases, the user logs in remotely using modern techniques such as direct access or VPN. PLTFRM partners can advise organizations on which solution is right for each user group within your organization and connectivity solutions for the workplace, such as SD-Wan.
  • Communication: Communication is at the heart of collaboration, no matter where someone works, they need to be able to make calls, consult, email, WhatsApp and brainstorm. Organizations can implement a PBX and collaboration solutions for this, to allow everyone to video call and fully integrate them with meeting rooms in the office.
  • Service desk: The service desk is the first point of contact and key to quickly resolving disruptions in user satisfaction and productivity. With the right point of contact, an organization can reduce incident times by resolving them immediately and make employees feel heard. A large component of user satisfaction with IT is how (quickly) it is resolved.
  • User Experience: Besides the daily collaboration with colleagues, it is important for leadership and the IT department to have a factual understanding of what users experience. This way, large-scale dissatisfaction and challenges with productivity can be prevented. With PLTFRM's User Experience Management partners, there is always a proactive grip on user experience.
  • Device: If desired, the device (e.g. the laptop or cell phone) can also be provided through the PLTFRM community. For these questions, a circular lifecycle is the starting point at PLTFRM. This means that the devices are managed from procurement, logistics, use and disposal, and an organization is relieved of the burden. Solutions are also available for organizations that want to manage the lifecycle themselves.
